A REMINDER

The world is so full of shit,

it takes just as many words

to say something positive

about another person

then it does to try to

tear them down.

We are all short of perfection

we all fail at our attempts

to become who we truly

wish to be

so when the constant

drone from the constant droners

is nothing but about the short

comings of other people

and how they are wrong

and they did not do this

or they did that

it comes down

to the reality

that the world is full of shit.

So busy blaming

instead of nurturing,

so busy hating

instead of loving,

so ready to point that

finger of personal condemnation

not offer the hand of assistance,

so ready to fire off just

one more insult

instead of one more encouragement.

Ah but one will look

At the first words

Writ upon this empty page

and assume the same be true

Yet this not the case

for the fact of the inner

workings of the twisting words

is only a reminder to those

who seem to forget

that to encourage

is the greater reward,

that the greater benefit

to your soul, your peace

of mind, you very right

to breathe lays

in making this a better place

not a fantasy of existence

where you are correct

and somehow everyone

else is wrong,

that you are a mouth piece

of reason, sanity and calm

in the raging seas of stupidity,

no you are not

you are just another soul

with much to learn, much

to see and your only true

function if you perceive, if you

comprehend more then another

is to pass that to them

in a wrappings of care, warmth

and concern, not in your

betterment rabble of nothing said.

This is not a condemnation but

simply a reminder that love

is the function of human existence, 

love is the reason behind human

breath and love is what you receive

when love is what you give.
