KNOWING IS NOT KNOWING

Upon the faulty

Inputs of memory

And self identity

One pretends to remember

One pretends to comprehend

And tries to function

Within in the ever changing

Landscape of self

And reality

For reality doth not change

It remains a constant

And unchangeable event

Yet the viewer, the participants

And the spectators

All shall see the event

Change as life itself

Changes for the ability

To comprehend, see,

Mold and come to

An partial understanding

Of that which is beyond

Their finite abilities.

None of human comprehension

Have any truth in their

Thoughts, they are simply

Misled by the fact

That they change

In the ever non-changing

Reality that surrounds them.

That one brief flash of what is

Before them to soon become

Behind them

And to linger in their

Thoughts, their memories

Their existence

As they struggle

To comprehend

Even what that one brief

Flash upon their screen

Means for the rest

Of their life.

Their is no human comprehension

Their is only an acceptance

To what hath transpired

To continue one on

In their journey

To the forever

That awaits them

In the temporary journey

Of their perceived temporary

Moments that exist

Beyond the moment

And change beyond the moment

And grow upon reflection

Into more then

The self thought those moments

Were when first encountered.

So boast not to thyself

That you comprehend,

That you know,

That you understand

For tomorrow one simple

Light may fall upon your

Wisdom and bring

A whole new understanding

To that one thing you

Thought you knew so well.

Sit not in your thoughts

And think not but

Experience and have open faith

That your temporary understanding

Of the infinite is the best

You can do and humble yourself

To this reality

And open yourself to

The wisdom of knowing

That you are not capable

Of knowing at all

And not even knowing yourself.
